Free Entrance Day: Veterans Day

On November 11, national parks waive entrance fees for Veterans Day, honoring those who served in the U.S. armed forces. It is one of the fee-free days the National Park Service sets each year, and many parks and NPS military and historic sites hold commemorations. The waiver covers entrance fees only and, for 2026, applies to U.S. citizens and residents; camping, tours, and reservation fees still apply.
