The category benchmark. Quieter than the KO2 on highway, comparable bite off-road, longer life expected. The default daily-driver-overland AT.

Description

Last reviewed Apr 28, 2026

BFGoodrich launched the third-generation All-Terrain T/A KO3 in September 2024 as the long-awaited successor to the KO2. The redesign targets longer on-road tread life and quieter highway running while preserving the off-road bite that made the KO2 the default daily-driver-overland tire. CoreGard sidewalls — derived from the Baja T/A KR3 race tire — resist split and bruise damage; Advanced Deflection Design routes protruding rocks away from the sidewall before they snag; full-depth locking 3D sipes maintain tread-block rigidity through the life of the tread. The KO3 carries the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) severe-snow certification across its lineup and is manufactured in the United States.
