Overview
The Boreas XT is a hard-sided expedition trailer from Boreas Campers of Pueblo, Colorado. Unlike a pop-up, it uses a fixed, insulated cabin shell built on a CNC-cut steel frame with composite fiberglass panels, riding on Cruisemaster axle-less independent suspension with 19 inches of ground clearance. A rear slide-out galley houses a Truma C60 compressor fridge, a Partner cookstove, and an on-demand sink. The electrical system pairs a 100 amp-hour Battle Born lithium battery with a 100-watt Zamp solar panel and a Victron charge controller, and a Propex forced-air furnace handles heat. The standard cabin sleeps two, and a load-rated roof rack takes a rooftop tent to sleep four. Dry weight is 2,200 pounds; base price is $44,990.
