About the Rugged Case line
ROAM's Rugged Case line is a modular hard-case system built for roof-rack and bed-mounted storage. Every case in the line shares the same construction recipe: an LLDPE shell, steel lockable latches, stainless lid-lifts, steel hinges, and a dust- and water-resistant gasket seal. An interlocking lid lets cases stack without sliding, and the tie-down channels along each side accept ROAM's Rigid Mounts brackets for fixed roof-rack mounting. Capacities range from 55L through a 128L rolling version with poly wheels.
The 83L Rugged Case is a low-profile rooftop case sized for recovery gear, camp equipment, and long, flat items — 51 in wide and just 7.8 in tall to preserve overhead aerodynamics. Shell is LLDPE with steel lockable latches, stainless lid-lifts, steel hinges, and a dust- and water-resistant gasket seal. 25 lbs empty.
